Evelyn Hafferty

Evelyn notices things: hairs out of place, interesting faces, patterns, and connections. This perceptiveness is a major asset to her mission to design things – especially websites – that are easy and intuitive to use. Inefficient design or the complicated presentation of information drives her bonkers (don’t get her started about IKEA assembly directions). Evelyn especially believes in approaching each new project strategically and solving the problem at hand before design even begins.
With a degree from Syracuse University in Communications Design, Evelyn got her start working in NYC for some of the world’s largest branding consultancies. She has created online applications and websites for companies such as General Motors, Hewlett Packard, International Paper, and Comcast. Her expertise encompasses branding, usability, research, and aesthetics. Articles she has written about branding and marketing have been published on BrandChannel and Business Week Online. She has a knack for spotting the unusual and is always trying new approaches to visual problem solving.
