Amy Bernhardt

Minister of Archaeology

Amy Bernhardt, Minister of Archaeology, mines middens of data, ideas, and artifacts to bring out beauty and organization inherent in the chaos. Plus, she really likes when projects kick off, so she can dig in. Amy earned her BFA in printmaking at Rhode Island School of Design in 1995 and then spent 8.5 years in New York exploring the role of the artist in the workplace. Amy has worked with artists such as Roni Horn, Adam Bartos, and Philip Lorca di Corcia as Director of Exhibitions at Box Studios in New York. Since moving to Rhode Island, she has been working with Woonsocket teens on her dance moves and teaching silkscreen. Amy enjoys having very Goonie adventures with her husband Amos and dog Bucket.
